We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and, where applicable, international regulations such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulations (collectively, GDPR) when handling personal data. We are a company incorporated in Singapore that provides fractional talent services ("Services").

The information we collect

In this Policy, "personal data" refers to any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access, including data in our records as may be updated from time to time. The types of personal data you may provide to us include (depending on the nature of your interaction with us):

  • your full name, designation and company details;
  • your NRIC, passport or other identification number;
  • your contact details, including email address, mailing address, business address and/or telephone number;
  • your payment details (through our third party payment processor);
  • your preferences and/or opinions;
  • information you provide to us through customer surveys;
  • details of products and services we have provided to you and/or that you have enquired about, and our response to you;
  • your browser session and IP address, device and network information, statistics on page views and sessions, acquisition sources, search queries and/or browsing behaviour;
  • information about your access and use of our Services, including through the use of Internet cookies, your communications with our online Services, the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using and the domain name of your Internet service provider;
  • additional personal data that you provide to us, directly or indirectly, through your use of our Services, associated applications, associated social media platforms and/or accounts from which you permit us to collect information; and
  • any other personal data requested by us and/or provided by you or a third party.

How we collect personal data

We collect personal data in a variety of ways, including:

Directly: We collect personal data which you directly provide to us, including when you submit information to us, through the 'contact us' form on our website or when you request our assistance via email, our social media channels, video calls or over the telephone.

Indirectly: We may collect personal data which you indirectly provide to us while interacting with us, such as when you use our website, in emails, via video calls, over the telephone and in your online enquiries.

Collection and use of personal data

Personal data: We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal data for the following purposes:

  • to enable you to access and use our Services;
  • to provide our Services to you, including managing project engagements and communications, register your attendance at our events, assess and process your application for consultancy projects or collaborations, to manage your appointments and scheduling with our consultants, to communicate with you regarding service updates, proposals and feedback;
  • to enable you to access and use our associated applications;
  • to contact and communicate with you about our Services;
  • for internal record keeping, administrative, invoicing and billing purposes;
  • for analytics, market research and business development, including to operate and improve our Services to better meet your business needs, associated applications;
  • for advertising and marketing, including to send you promotional information about our Services and information that we consider may be of interest to you;
  • to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have; and
  • if otherwise required or authorised by law.

The following section sets out the main categories of individual covered by this privacy policy and explains the types of personal information we collect and the purposes we will use it for.

If you submit an application to join us or a client, whether as an employee or contractor:

we will hold any personal information you provide to us (via our website or other methods), or that is sent to us by a third-party recruitment agency or website. This is likely to be your name, contact details and personal information contained in your CV. We will use this information for the purpose of communicating with you and evaluating your application.

If you fill in a form on our website to contact us:

we will store the information you enter or submit (e.g. name, contact details, comment and any other information you choose to submit) for the purposes of responding to your enquiry and business development.

If you receive our email newsletters or marketing materials:

we will hold your email address for the purpose of sending you updates and news that we think you will find interesting, sending you documents you have requested from our website and occasionally inviting you to events.

If you work for one of our clients or a partner organisation:

we may hold your name, company, job title and contact details and in certain situations, we may hold your identity and background information for the purposes of know your client checks or your testimonial, feedback or opinion.

If you are a supplier or work for a supplier:

we may hold your name and contact details in order to interact with you or your employer to procure and pay for goods and services.

If you engage our services:

we will hold personal information you, our client or a third party provides to us, which is likely to include your name and contact details, and may also include your date of birth, employment, education history and sensitive information. We will use this information for the purpose of providing our clients with fractional services.

Please note that providing personal information to us is voluntary on your part. If you choose not to provide us with certain information, we may not be able to assist you, consider your application or provide you with services.

If you provide us with personal information about someone else, you must ensure that you are entitled to disclose that personal information to us, that we may collect, use and disclose that personal information in accordance with this privacy policy without taking any further steps, and that you make such person aware of the contents of this privacy policy.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We may disclose personal data to third parties where such disclosure is necessary for the purposes set out in this Data Protection Policy, and where permitted or required under the law or regulation. Such parties may include:

  • third party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services, to us, including (without limitation) IT service providers, data storage, web-hosting and server providers, couriers, maintenance or problem-solving providers, marketing or advertising providers, professional advisors and payment systems operators;
  • our employees, contractors and/or related entities to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties;
  • our existing or potential agents or business partners in connection with our business operations;
  • anyone to whom our business or assets (or any part of them) are, or may (in good faith) be, transferred whether as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction;
  • courts, tribunals and regulatory authorities, in the event you fail to pay for Services we have provided to you in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, or in connection with any legal proceedings, whether actual or prospective, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights;
  • courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and law enforcement officers, as required or authorised by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; and
  • any other third parties as required or authorised by law, including the PDPA.

Overseas disclosure:

For the purposes set out above, we may transfer your personal data to third-party service providers or partners located outside of Singapore. Such countries may not have data protection laws equivalent to those of Singapore. Before transferring your personal data outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations (such as a contract) to provide a standard of protection that is at least comparable to the level of protection under the PDPA.

This may include:

  • Ensuring the overseas recipient is subject to data protection laws that offer a comparable level of protection;
  • Entering into binding contractual arrangements (such as data transfer agreements) with the overseas recipient to safeguard your personal data;
  • Obtaining your express consent to the disclosure after informing you that the overseas recipient may not be subject to comparable data protection laws.

We will only transfer your personal data overseas in compliance with the requirements of the PDPA, including Section 26 on transfer limitation obligations.

Your rights and controlling your personal data

Your choice:

Please read this Data Protection Policy carefully. If you provide personal data to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal data in accordance with this Data Protection Policy. You do not have to provide personal data to us, however, if you do not, it may affect our ability to provide our Services to you and your use of our Services.

Information from third parties:

If we receive personal data about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this Data Protection Policy. If you are a third party providing personal data about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have obtained such person's clear and express consent to provide their personal data to us for the relevant purpose(s), you have informed the person of the purpose(s) for which the personal data is being disclosed and that such purpose(s) are consistent with those stated in this Data Protection Policy.

Restrict and unsubscribe:

If you wish to object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, unsubscribe from our email database or opt-out of any communications (including marketing communications), please contact us using the details below or opt-out using the opt-out / unsubscribed facilities provided in our communication.

Access and Correction:

Subject to certain exceptions under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to and correction of the personal data that we hold about you. Please contact us using the details below and we will respond to your request in accordance with the PDPA.

Retention:

We will retain your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required or permitted by law. Once your personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

Complaints:

If you wish to make a complaint, regarding our handling of your personal data, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of your complaint. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you in writing, outlining the outcome of our investigation and any steps we may take to address your concerns.

Storage and security

We are committed to protecting the personal data we collect by implementing appropriate, physical, electronic and managerial safeguards. These measures are designed to protect your personal data from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

While we are committed and we strive to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that is transmitted to or by us over the Internet or electronic storage. Therefore, the transmission and exchange of information with us is at your own risk.

Cookies

We may use cookies on our online Services from time to time. Cookies are text files placed in your device's browser to store your preferences and improve your user experience. Cookies, by themselves, do not reveal your email address or other personally identifiable information. However, they do recognise you when you return to our online Services and allow third parties, such as Google and LinkedIn, to cause our advertisements to appear on your social media and online media feeds as part of our retargeting campaigns. Our Services may contain links to other websites. We do not have any control over those websites and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or how they handle your personal data. Those websites are not governed by this Data Protection Policy.

Amendments

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Data Protection Policy by publishing the amended Data Protection Policy on our website. We recommend you check our website regularly to ensure you are aware of our current Data Protection Policy.
